Meet the Team: Sales Manager Clint Barter

Clint summarises the sales role in a nutshell in this article but reinforces the importance of finding the best solution for the customer

Clint Barter is one of our Sales Managers. He says this means that he spends his time making phone calls, finding prospective customers, demonstrating the CareLineLive software to them before hopefully converting them to sales and going on to manage those accounts. That is sales in a nut shell!

More seriously he says that role asks for a responsibility to demo our system correctly to prospective customers giving them peace of mind that they are making the best decision based on their needs and requirements.

What did you do before joining CareLineLive?

Plenty of sales experience, but in a completely different sector, selling printing solutions to the corporate market space.

Why did you join CareLineLive?

I was looking for a new challenge to push myself. I had previously met Josh our MD through a mutual acquaintance. Josh seemed like a young entrepreneur who knew what he was doing. I jumped at the opportunity of being a part of something that was so new and innovative when the position was offered.

Best part of the job

Getting a prospect to agree to come onboard with CareLineLive and knowing how our system is going to help them. Being proud of what we are doing for home care providers and of what we are selling.

Frustrating part of the job

Not having prospects turning up for a demonstration as well as losing a deal.

What you most enjoy about working at CareLineLive?

Being able to provide home care agencies with a solution which helps streamline their processes helping them achieve a better service, ultimately offering their clients better care.


Surprising fact about you

When I was younger I used to be in the choir and I enjoy playing chess!
