CareLineLive is one of the UK’s leading home care management platforms. With over 650 customers globally it also has a robust presence in Australia.
CareLineLive was set up by Josh Hough in 2014 after wanting to access more information about his grandfather’s care and not having that need met by his carers’ providers.

The goal was to use digital technology to improve working practices, reduce costs, and ultimately provide carers with more time to focus on delivering exceptional care to their clients.
A pilot of CareLineLive was initially launched with a single home care agency back in 2012 as a simple electronic call monitoring system. Over the years it has evolved into an award winning fully fledged home care management system with a mission to provide the first truly all-in-home aged care management software in the UK and beyond.
We now work with over 650 aged care home care businesses across the world and have become one of the leading home care software providers in the UK.
CareLineLive expanded into Australia in 2018, and in early 2025 will be incorporating a range of Australian-centric features to its software including quoting tools, Package Management and budget assessments for HCP, CSHP, Support at Home and support for the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS). Support for NDIS will be provided later in 2025. This supplements our incredibly powerful rostering and care planning functionality to deliver a truly best-in-class solution for the Australian market.
We will shortly be adding an Australian support office which, combined with our UK office will be able to offer 24 hour support five days a week to all customers.

CareLineLive delivers more time to care through digitising workflows, automating processes, increasing revenue opportunities and decreasing overheads by creating staff capacity.

In 2023 CareLineLive acquired the businesses behind CareFor IT and Ulysses (UDMS) resulting in a formidable portfolio of product options for both private and public sector providers of aged care and disability care at home.
